Supporting Australia's Next Generation of Rowing Champions

Rowbust Australia is committed to working with Australia’s next generation of talented athletes.  These new athletes are helping Rowbust develop the cutting edge suits with the latest technical fabrics and designs.  Through our sponsorship programs we are developing new designs and making changes to our current styles based on the feedback we receive from their use of our gear.

Georgia Nesbitt

Georgia has been selected in the 2013 Australian Senior B lightweight women's double and has already enjoyed success at a National level.  In 2013, Georgia won gold in the U23 LW1X at the Australian Rowing Championships and fourth at the LW2X in the Rowing Down Under World Cup. 

Originally from Hobart, she was also in the 2009 School Girls Eight Australian Championship crew, racing for St Michael’s College School.  Georgia has also been selected to race in the 2013 Australian Senior A LW4X. Based at the Huon Rowing Club, Tasmania, Georgia is studying Arts-Law at UTAS and working part time in hospitality.

AUS Rowing Team Selection: Senior B (LW4X), Senior A (LW4X)
AUS National Championships: Gold U23LW1X  

 

Georgia Miansarow

Originally from the UK, where she rowed at school and the Tide Way Scullers School, Georgia is aiming for a medal on the 2016 Australian Rowing Team going to Rio.  In 2013, she was selected for the Senior B Australian team in the lightweight double and the lightweight quad in the Senior A team. 

Georgia was also selected in the Senior A LW2X for the Rowing Down Under World Cup but couldn't race due to injury. Currently rowing out of Mosman Rowing Club in Sydney, Georgia is studying part time at UTS and working part time in retail.
