One of my first coaches James Russel, he helped me to discover what I was capable of.

Muhammad Ali, Lance Armstrong and Steve Redgrave, all are great athletes who defied adversity to achieve excellence. They were also supreme mental strategists!!

“I’ve got a shotgun here and I’ll use it” – a remark by a top Australian coach.

Greatest Influence on Rowing Career
Reinhold Batchi, Nick Garratt, and Gary Merit have all had significant influence; however, the greatest would have to be my late Grandfather, for if it wasn’t for him I would never have started.

Certainly still heavily involved in rowing but as an athlete – who knows?
—Working with underprivileged children, helping them reach their full potential.
—Married, children …..well, maybe …….
